About the presenter
Steve Adams is the current
President of the Sheffield
Astronomical Society and has been in the post for over 13
years. His interest in astronomy and space was fired by the Apollo Moon landings in the 1960s and 70s and the amazing pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope. In March 2008 he finally met his boyhood hero, Buzz Aldrin, at a meeting in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
